Beef ain't the only thing being recalled around here. Although, I should quickly note that I'm glad I stopped buying Topps burgers a few months ago. Considering I've never been a big fan of E. coli and all, Sara and I made a good decision to switch recently to a much more fatty, juicy, delicious burger--and one that is not tainted with bacteria. Anyway, there was another recall I learned about recently: my digital camera! Here I am, taking some pics of my car back in August, when the screen goes all berserk and distorted on me. Turns out, this was a problem that affected a bunch of Canon digicams and camcorders, so they recalled all of them and offered to fix the problem for free, regardless of any warranty expirations. Well. Let me just say that I am now a Canon customer for life. All I did was send one email and these peeps started the whole process for me. Sent me the free shipping label. Fixed the camera. Sent it back to me in about 7 days. They even wished me a good time on vacation when I told them I wouldn't be able to send out the camera for a couple days. It was the best customer service experience I've had. And now I can take more pics of random things around the apartment. Like feet and hardwood floors.   |
